The Nativity – LIVE

What a BUSY time of year! There are SO many fun things to do and see! I am glad that I made my Christmas Bucket List  this year to stay organized! It has been fun checking things off as my little family has done these Christmas festivities! Have you been able to check anything off of your Christmas Bucket List this year? If you haven’t… this week is your chance!

One of my most favorite memories growing up is going to the Live Nativity here in Las Vegas. I remember putting on my warmest coat, ear warmers, a scarf and some mittens as we drove out to Opportunity Village with my friends and family. I have gone almost every year since I was 8 years old… and I plan on continuing the tradition now that I am a mom!

The Nativity really puts me in the Christmas “mood.”  I love the story of our Savior, Jesus Christ’s birth and I love the spirit that I feel when I am able to see it live! The performance is only 25 minutes long, so it is perfect for even little kids. There are over two-dozen live animals in the act and in the past we have actually been able to go see and pet the animals after the play! ANYONE can attend and all seating is first come, first serve this year.

For more information on show times, the address for Opportunity Village and to see a one minute clip about The Nativity CLICK HERE!

I hope you can take the time to gather your family and see this production! I KNOW your family will love it, just as much as mine does. The kids will love getting out of the house for a little FREE family activity!

Remember to dress warm and maybe even bring a blanket! It is COLD out there!

For those of you who do not live in Las Vegas, please Google “Live Nativity” in your area, to find the nearest one to you! I can’t think of a better way to bring the Christmas Spirit into our lives this week!
