Hey Besties!
My mind is blown that it’s already time for our NEW Word of the Month for our #BestiesLifeChallenge! For those of you that are new to our Bestie Squad – I just want to take a minute and WELCOME you here! We are so so so excited to have you join us in the journey of striving to make EVERY day, the BEST day!
Every month we have a new word that we focus on, and together as a tribe share thoughts and ideas on how we can really change our lives to become the BEST we can be!
I am sooo excited to announce our JUNE Word of the Month AND to introduce you ladies to a new little segment of the Life Challenge!
As Summer is here and in full force, I have noticed lately that there have been many moments that I have not been 100% PRESENT. I mean – my body is there as my kids play, or read books, or watch a movie, or go swimming, or play at the park – but my mind is not. I am constantly thinking of the many things I need to get done and THINK I should be doing, rather than just living in the moment and soaking in the little things!
While our kids are home from school over the next few months, we are going to work on the new Word Of The Month…. which is being PRESENT.
No matter where you are – whether you are at home with your littles…on a date with your man…at dinner with your girlfriends… or outside with the neighbors…we are going to focus on whatever is RIGHT in front of us.
The thing is, we will never be able to re-do today. We will never get these moments back. So why not REALLY be present. REALLY be there. REALLY live in each moment – no matter where we are.
I am SO excited to be PRESENT with you all. To be present with our kids, who absolutely deserve a mom who not only is focused on them. To be present with our hubbies, who want to talk to us and date us and kiss us and hang out with us after the kids go to bed. To be present with our friends, neighbors, sisters and other people we come in contact with.
