20 Creative Lunches and Snacks JUST For Kids

It seems to be a popular trend from a lot of moms I come in contact with and within my own experience as a mom, that babies can be really good eaters the first year of their life and then once they hit about a year and a half all of the sudden their appetite changes and the food they once loved gets thrown on the ground and chucked across the room.

By making lunch fun, children are more likely to eat their food. So to help with that, I have collected 20 of the most creative lunches and snacks just for kids! They are perfect for boys and girls of all ages and are great ways to get them to eat healthy!

I just love Bento lunches and even made Hayley (my youngest) some for the first half of the school year. Then she informed me that she didn’t want to take lunch anymore. Spoil sport lol.

Now I satisfy the need for something cute by doing it at home for them on occasion.

Hi Paula! Thanks for stopping by. Some of these do look like a lot of work lol. That’s definitely why I wouldn’t recommend making your kids’ meals like this every day, just every once in a while to spice things up and make eating time fun for your little ones. Thanks again for your comment!

What cute food my kids would love it! Unfortunately, I just might not have the time to prepare it that way very often.

Hi Karen! I wouldn’t be able to make snacks of this caliber very often either but my little one just loves it when I do spoil her with fun treats. Thanks for your comment today!

My kids love it when I take a bit of extra time to make their food look cute. My son starts kindergarten this year; I might do a few of these the first week of school to make him smile!

That sounds great Dede. I am sure your sun will love to open his lunch box and find that you took a little extra time to make him feel special. He’s lucky to have such a great mom. Thanks for your comment today!
